There were bathrooms with water to rinse off. There was a nice stairway/ramp leading to the sandy beach. The weather wasn't hot (in July), but we didn't have to wear jackets as we did at many of the other beaches. There is a main Corona Del Mar beach close by, but not too far south you will find it's better half LITTLE Corona Del Mar! If you can find a place to park along the street, as we did, then parking is free! It is in a beautiful cove. Although all the beaches were pretty, Little Corona Del Mar was by far our favorite. We went to several beaches from south of Laguna, to Malibu and many beaches in between. During this time, we filled our time with as many touristy things as possible.
